Wornio Privacy Policy

Wornio (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use the Wornio iOS application.

1. Information Collection and Storage

• Local Device Storage: Garment photos, wardrobe items, cost metrics, and outfit data you import or create within Wornio are stored locally on your device. We do not store or host your personal wardrobe photos on external company servers.

• Camera and Photo Library Access: Wornio requests access to your camera and photo library solely to allow you to upload images of your clothing items into your digital closet.
  
  

2. Purchases and Subscriptions

• Payments and subscription processing are handled entirely by Apple through your iTunes/App Store account and our subscription management partner, RevenueCat.

• We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card, banking, or billing details.
  
  

3. Analytics and Telemetry

• Wornio uses PostHog to understand how the app is used. We record which features are opened and used, along with counts, categories, price ranges and the brands you add. We do not use automatic capture, session recording or screen recording. Your photographs, the names of your garments, the amounts you paid and the days you wore things stay on your device and are never sent. Analytics are attached to a randomly generated identifier that is not linked to you, your name or your email address. There is no advertising identifier and no tracking across other apps or websites. Analytics data is processed by PostHog and stored on servers in the European Union. If Wornio crashes, Apple may share an anonymised crash report with us, but only if you have opted into sharing diagnostics with developers in iOS Settings, under Privacy and Security, then Analytics and Improvements.
  
  

4. Third-Party Services

• Wornio relies on trusted service providers to function efficiently:

  • Apple App Store: Manages app distribution, account authentication, and payments.

  • RevenueCat: Validates subscription status and handles in-app purchase receipts.

  • PostHog: Product analytics, as described in section 3. Data is stored in the European Union.
