What is cost per wear?
The price you paid, divided by the number of times you’ve worn it. A $200 coat worn twice is $100 a wear. Worn fifty times, it’s $4. The number falls every time you wear something — that’s the whole idea.
Why does a piece show no cost per wear?
Because you haven’t worn it yet. There’s no sensible number to show until the first wear, so Wornio waits rather than showing you a made-up one.
How does Wornio decide something is good value?
Against the wear goal you set for that piece, not a flat number for everything. $4 a wear is excellent for a winter coat and poor for a t-shirt, so an occasion dress is never judged like a white tee.
Where is my data kept?
On your phone. Wornio has no account, no sign-up and no server of its own — your photos, your prices and your wear history stay on the device. That also means we can’t see your closet, and we can’t recover it for you. The only thing that leaves is a small set of anonymous usage counts, so we can see which parts of the app people actually use.
What happens if I delete the app?
Everything goes with it — every piece, every logged wear, every photo you added. There’s no backup on our side to restore from, because nothing is ever uploaded. Worth knowing before you delete.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and start adding things.
What’s free, and what’s paid?
A free closet holds 20 pieces you own. Your wishlist is unlimited and always free — you shouldn’t have to pay for wanting things. Wornio Pro removes the 20-piece limit.
How do I cancel Pro?
Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple account, and the price is shown in the app before you buy. To cancel, open the App Store app, tap your profile picture, then Subscriptions, then Wornio. Cancelling is handled entirely by Apple — we can’t do it for you, and we can’t see your billing details.
Can I log a wear for a day that has already passed?
Yes. Open the piece, tap Log wear, and pick the day. Wornio counts one wear per piece per day, so tapping twice on the same day won’t double it.
Why does Wornio want my camera and photos?
Only so you can add pictures of your own clothes to your closet. The photos stay on your phone. Wornio doesn’t read the rest of your library.
How do I change the currency, or start over?
Both live in Settings. Currency changes how every price is shown; it doesn’t convert anything. Empty my closet deletes every piece and every logged wear, and it can’t be undone.
